The evening was filled with laughter and a sense of community at the Troop 27 Santa Elena Jaguar Scouts’ end-of-year celebration. The air buzzed with excitement as families, friends, and visitors from the Riverol’s/Bouchard family from Scouts Canada, 1st Saint Lazare Beaver Timbertop Colony, Quebec Council, gathered to share in the festivities. I was genuinely delighted to be there, soaking in the warm atmosphere and witnessing a beautifully organized program. The night was packed with engaging activities that brought joy to everyone present. Bravo to the Troop 27 Santa Elena Jaguar Scouts for hosting such a memorable event! I truly appreciate being included in this wonderful celebration.

“End-of-Year Meeting of the Scout Foundation”

On December 17, 2025, the Directors of the Belize Scout Foundation convened for their annual end-of-year meeting, held at the Ambassador’s Terrace. The meeting welcomed participation from members of The Scout Association, some of whom had not attended meetings recently.

Chairman Dr. Rene Villanueva opened the meeting by expressing gratitude to everyone for their attendance. The agenda included key discussions on several important topics: a proposal on the management of the Sir Colville building; a financial report covering the period ending November 2025; the approval of the Auditor for the years 2024 and 2025; and the revision and approval of the financial budget for 2026.

The Directors expressed a strong motivation to enhance open, interactive communication with The Scout Association, aiming to provide better support for the Association’s objectives in the upcoming year.

In closing, the Chairman thanked everyone for their commitment and dedication to fulfilling the Foundation’s mission, wishing all attendees a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
