“Belmopan Scouts Attend the Youth Ocean Forum”

On February 6, 2026, members of the 37th Belmopan Phoenix Scout Group proudly attended the Youth Ocean Forum held at the UB Auditorium. During this event, young leaders participated in discussions on innovation, policy, and direct actions to protect our marine environment. Our involvement in this forum reflects the core Scouting values of environmental stewardship, citizenship, and leadership. It empowers our Scouts to be informed, responsible, and proactive in safeguarding the oceans for future generations, embodying the Scout promise to help others and protect our world.

“Belize Scouts Shine at Inter Tropas Camp in Xul-Ha, Quintana Roo, Mexico”

This past weekend, three spirited Scout groups from Belize—the 6th Corozal Methodist Scout Group, the 11th Mary Hill Dolphins, and the 37th Phoenix from Belmopan—came together to embark on an exciting adventure at the Inter Tropas Camp in the picturesque setting of Xul-Ha, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Despite the challenges posed by unusually cold weather, our Scouts demonstrated remarkable resilience and camaraderie. With their spirits high, they engaged in a variety of activities designed to forge friendships and build skills, all while creating lasting memories. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by each Scout filled the air with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

A standout moment of the camp was the honoring of our own esteemed Corozaleno, Mr. Hilberto Riverol. After years of dedicated service in the Scouting community in Belize, he received recognition alongside fellow Scout leaders from Mexico. His commitment to nurturing the growth of our youth through Scouting has inspired many.

This experience was truly a celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and the shared values of Scouting. A heartfelt bravo goes out to the incredible leaders who invest their time and energy in guiding our young Scouts. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event such a memorable and enriching experience!
