The 37th Cayo Belmopan Phoenix Scout Group proudly concluded Scout Month with a meaningful cleanup campaign and tree-planting activity at 10 Cents Creek in the Maya Mopan area of Belmopan. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Belmopan City Council, RaquelRodriguez Art, and the Belmopan Child Advisory Board, reinforcing our shared commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.

Thank you once again to everyone who showed up and actively participated—your support and dedication made the activity a success.

Our Scouts and Ventures later hiked and jogged to our Scout House, where we gathered for a campfire and closing ceremony, marking the end of our Scout Month activities. It was a fitting conclusion, filled with reflection, camaraderie, and the true spirit of Scouting.

“Scout Month Celebrated in Belize”

February 28, 2026

Scout Month took place from February 1 to February 28. Active Scout Groups across the country engaged in a wide array of vibrant and meaningful activities to honor the birthday of Sir Robert Baden-Powell, the esteemed founder of the Scout Movement. Throughout the month, Scouts participated in events such as community service projects, outdoor adventures, attended religious services, and educational workshops, all designed to celebrate the values of scouting. The Belize Scout Foundation extends heartfelt congratulations to everyone who contributed to and took part in these lively celebrations, making Scout Month 2026 a memorable occasion for all.
