November 8, 2003 – New Cub Scout Program Workshop

On November 8, 2003 The Scout Association of Belize through its National Capacity Building Team led by Mrs. Alma Eiley held a workshop on the new Cub Scout program in San Ignacio Town.

In a message sent to all Cub Scout Leaders, Chief Scout Mr. Julian Castillo pointed out that the new program is not only innovative, stimulating and exciting but also that it loses none of its customary and established traditions.  The program has been tailored for the Cub Scout of today he said – ensuring that the links between all sections of the Group are successfully forged, encouraged and utilized, bridging the generation between the Scouting family.

The Workshop had the participation of Cub Scout Leaders from the Belize, Corozal, Orange Walk and the Cayo districts.

The Belize Scout Foundation was pleased to support this Workshop with a grant of $1,000.00
