In 1992, the 1st Corozal Rotary Scout Group held an investiture ceremony for new members inside the Corozal Town Hall. Fred Orio, a Rotarian was then District Commissioner and Cynthia Robateau was the Group Scout Leader. Alma Navarro was Cub Scout leader along with Keila and Ms. Pasos. There were two other female Leaders but I can’t recall their names. If someone can provide me with the missing names I will edit and include their names for the record.

On June 13, 2022, the Belize Scout Foundation and The Scout Association of Belize signed a Memorandum of Understanding entering into ten areas of cooperation in relation to the gifting of the “Sir Colville N. Young Building” home of Scouting in Belize, to the Scout Association.

Today June 16, 2022, in meeting its obligation on article1 of the MOU, the treasurer of the Foundation, Mr. Jose A. Garcia, presented the first monthly grant of $600.00 to the Association at the Sir Colville N. Young Building. Mr. Ricardo Alcoser, Senior Field Executive of the Association, received the check on behalf of the Association. This monthly grant of $600.00 is to assist the Association in meeting their monthly utility bills for the next twelve months as they go through the experience and learn to manage their finances related to the upkeep and maintenance of their new building.
