Identifying wall for recognition plaques

Mr. Francis Woods, Chairman of the Building sub-committee of the Belize Scout Foundation, along with Chairman, Dr. Rene R. Villanueva and Executive Director, Hilberto B. Riverol met on January 19, 2023, to identify where to mount the recognition plaques on the Sir Colville N. Young building, home of Scouting in Belize.  Mr. Roberto Lopez, National Scout Executive of The Scout Association also participated in the process.

The Foundation is mounting nine plaques recognizing everyone who contributed in some towards constructing the home of Scouts in Belize. Continue reading “Identifying wall for recognition plaques”

SAB’s Finance & Investment Sub-committee holds its first meeting

The newly appointed Chairman of the Finance & Investment Sub-committee of the Belize Scout Foundation (SAB) Mr. Roberto Harrison chaired his first meeting on January 11, 2023. Mr. Harrison’s commitment to have his committee active comes as no surprise as has successfully chaired numerous committees in a number of organizations in the past.

The first task on hand for the sub-committee was the review of the proposed operations budget 2023 which was looked at very closely and was approved after minor adjustments were made to it.
