Belize Scout Foundation Directors meeting 1/2023

Directors of the Belize Scout Foundation met on Saturday, February 4, 2023, for their first meeting in 2023.

Chairman of the Foundation, Dr. Rene R. Villanueva welcomed everyone to the meeting and wished them a happy new year.  Mr. Francis (Cisco) Woods said the opening prayer.

Numerous decisions were taken during the meeting including setting a date for the unveiling of the recognition plaques on the Sir Colville N. Young building and the approval of the budget 2023 that was presented at the Directors meeting held on December 21, 2022, and reviewed and adjusted by the Finance and Investment sub-committee on February 11, 2023.

Mounting of recognition plaques on Sir Colville N. Young building

Following the recommendation of where to mount the recognition plaques on the Sir Colville N. Young building, contractor Felipe De Jesus Miranda was tasked with the job to mount them on Friday, January 27, 2023.

Unfortunately, one plaque had an error and had to be sent back to the supplier for rectification.
