Finance & Investment Sub-committee Meeting

The finance and Investment Sub-committee of the Belize Scout Foundation met on Thursday via Google Meet to review two funding applications.

In reviewing the applications, the committee members agreed that both applications were in line with the requirement for funding, and after a brief discussion on both applications, it was agreed to fund both projects.

1) Funding to subsidize the registration fees for Scouts and Leaders participating in the upcoming JAMCAM to be held in Panama from April 4 through 9, 2023.    Miss Reese Medina, head of Contingent to JAMCAM 2023, submitted this funding application.

2)   Funding to purchase 25 Messengers of Peace flags to be distributed to nationwide Scout Groups free of cost.  This application for funding was submitted by Miss Reese Medina, Messengers of Peace Ambassador for Belize.

The Belize Scout Foundation is pleased to identify with these programs and takes this opportunity to wish the participants an enjoyable and fruitful experience at the JAMCAM.  The Foundation also looks forward to identifying the Scout Groups displaying their Messengers of Peace flags during Scouting events.
