Library Visit in San Antonio

On July 11, 2024, the Santa Elena Jaguar Scouts visited the San Antonio Library to introduce to the children the spirit of scouting. We demonstrated how to setup a tent, supplies needed and techniques for fire starting, and various useful knots that the kids enjoyed learning. We also thought them about all that scouting is, the significance of what we do and showed them our scout uniform. Our venture scouts had a great time teaching and working with the children, the children also enjoyed playing games with us and learning about what scouting is.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Yadira Mesh for inviting us to the library. Her reaching out to us made this visit possible, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share our love for scouting with the younger generations. We are hopeful that this event will spark interest and lead to the formation of a scout group in San Antonio, continuing the legacy of scouting.
