Summit of the Future- Belize Youth Dialogue

On August 9, 2024, the 37th Cayo Belmopan Phoenix Scout Group participated in the Summit of the Future – Belize Youth Dialogue. The Summit provided a platform for youths from across Belize to discuss ways to improve the country’s path toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants also identified key focus areas to prioritize.

During the session, the Scouts led with the National Prayer and posed insightful questions.

The 37th Cayo Belmopan Phoenix Scout Group is committed to contributing to sustainable development in Belize. The Belmopan Scouts will soon open their Scout House, which is expected to be ready by December. This facility will serve a dual purpose: As a Scout house and a Youth Education Resource Center. The center will focus on educating young adults aged 10 to 21 about sustainable development and best practices. The vision is to inspire young leaders, particularly those in the local area while nurturing their future career prospects and advocacy efforts.

The Belize Scout Foundation congratulates the 37th Cayo Belmopan Phoenix Scout Group on their awesome initiative.
