The Scout Association of Belize through its National Training Team conducted a Basic II Course for adult Leaders from June 2 – 4, 2006.

The course was held at Camp Oakley and had the participation of 19 adult volunteers from around the country.

The aim of Basic II training is to provide the basic skills needed to leaders of the different sections so as to enable them to implement the practical skills of Scouting in their sections.

The course was directed by Trainer Orlando Garcia and was supported with a grant of $1,000.00 by the Belize Scout Foundation.

Preparatory work continues for the Sir Colville N. Young Building

Preparations continued today October 15 for the pile driving ceremony scheduled for October 16 for the “Sir Colville N. Young Building” home of Scouting in Belize. thanks to Mr. Francis Woods for his tremendous input with all the preparatory work.
