On February 2000

 In the month of February 2000, the Belize Scout Foundation supported The Scout Association of Belize with a grant of $1,950.00 to purchase handbooks for Cub Scout Leaders. The handbook was introduced at a workshop for Cub Scout Leaders held on February 5, 2000.

This handbook, published by the World Scout Bureau, Interamerican Region, presents a full description of the Scout method and program, designed to guide the work of adult Leaders in the Cub Scout Section.

The revision of the work and its adoption to the situation of the Caribbean Scout Associations was carried out at a seminar held at Gilwell Park, London in the month of January 1998, under the auspices and with the sponsorship of the ISO and The Scout Association (UK).

Mrs. Alma Eiley, SAB Deputy National Training Commissioner (Cub Scouts) participated in the revision of this handbook before it went to print.
