Corozal Methodist Scout Group weekend activities

The 6th Corozal Methodist Scout Group weekend activities included Saturday, August 19, hosting the park artisan fair at the Corozal Central Park, and Sunday, August 20, 2023 church service at the Corozal Methodist Church.

The Belize Scout Foundation congratulates the Corozal Methodist Scouts for their initiative in community involvement and duty to GOD.

Did you know?…

In July of 1990, a delegation of Scouts from Belize traveled to Houston Texas to participate in the International Scout Encampment 1990 sponsored by the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  The delegation of five members was made up of Mary Pennell, Sherman Barrow, Lombardo Riverol, and Marlon McNab from 1st Belize Holy Redeemer Scout Group and Hilberto Riverol Jr. from 8th Belize St. Joseph Scout Unit. During that period Hilberto B. Riverol was serving as the National Scout Executive and attended the Encampment as a guest.   The Encampment was held at Camp Strake near Houston, Texas, and had the participation of nine other countries.
