As the September celebrations get underway leading to Independence Day on September 21, it is gratifying to see Scouts taking part in the flag ceremony celebrating “National Flag Day” under the theme “Hope Ignited! Hands United; Belize @42.

It can be recalled that on August 3, 2022, the Belize Scout Foundation presented a complete set of steel pans to the Scout Association for their music program. These pans which are a gifts from the Government and People of the Republic of China (Taiwan) were obtained through a grant submitted to the Embassy by the Foundation at the recommendation of then Governor-General, Sir Colville N. Young.

The Scout Foundation is pleased that the Scouts are utilizing the pans in their music program and congratulates all those involved.
