Sir Colville building plaque unveiling photo presented to Mr. Alex Chang

On May 16, 2024, Dr. Rene R. Villanueva, Chairman of the Belize Scout Foundation, and Hilberto B. Riverol, Executive Director, visited Mr. Alex Chang MBE at his place of business, Fen Lan, located on the Phillip Goldson Highway. The purpose of the visit was to present Mr. Chang with a framed photo of the unveiling of plaques at the Sir Colville N. Young building on Albert Street.

This presentation was a token of appreciation for Mr. Chang’s generous donation of $50,000.00 toward the construction of the building, which now serves as the home for the Scouts. Dr. Villanueva expressed gratitude for Mr. Chang’s contribution, stating that it has provided the Scouts with a place to call their own.
