The Foundation Directors held their 5th meeting for 2019 on Saturday, November 23, 2019. Top on the agenda was the construction of the “Sir Colville N. Young Building” Home of Scouting in Belize.
Sir Colville N. Young, Governor-General of Belize and Patron of the Foundation was present at the meeting and presented the check of $50,000.00 received from Mr. Alex Chang, Senior Advisor to the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Taiwan to Dr. Rene Villanueva, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
It was an opportune time to have Sir Colville present so board members took the opportunity to wish Sir Colville Many more years of life and happily song the birthday song for him. ” Congratulations Sir Colville on your 87th birthday”.
