No plastic

On another note, we are pleased to report that the Belize Sea Scouts used no disposable plastics and all recyclable plastics returned to shore for appropriate disposal. In support of the move to ban all non-reusable plastics and Styrofoam, sailors brought their reusable water containers and only beverages in recyclable bottles were used. Extra water in recyclable plastic was returned unused. Unfortunately, we got separated from the Hbaour Regatta Committee venue and ended up resorting to styrofoam food containers from a local food vendor. We continue to promote 4 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover.

 

Now! Ain’t this something to admire❤️. We should all follow this exemplary action by the Sea Scouts⚜️. 😻 LOVE it.
