On July 9 – 12, 1999 The 11th National Cub Scout Camp was held at Camp Oakley from July 9 – 12, 1999, and was directed by Cub Scout Leader Lombardo Riverol Jr. from the 1st Holy Redeemer Scout Group.

The eighty-four participants enjoyed games, swimming, participated in baseball and football sporting competitions, did arts and crafts sessions, enjoyed a half-day of carnival activities, competed in the challenge valley and visited the Belize Zoo.

 

The camp had as its theme “Leap 2000”
The Belize Scout Foundation supported the camp with a grant of $1,000.00
