Blocks Campaign for the “Sir Colville N. Young Building”

We are looking for individuals, couples, groups or organizations who want to help with our blocks campaign for the “Sir Colville N. Young Building” home of Scouting in Belize. You can donate as little as you can afford or as much as you can.

We need 5000 cement blocks and it’s costing $5.00 each. The $5.00 covers the cost of the block, labor and materials to get the job done.

Already, someone has donated the first 100 blocks. We will create a wall and post the name of all the donors with their permission. This will help us see how we are progressing with our blocks drive and maybe encourage others to contribute.

The clock is ticking, help us build a permanent home for the Scouts of Belize.

603 blocks already donated and counting. Call in your donation. Help increase this number

What’s next after this?

What’s next after this?

The floor and ceiling will be casted and then the building walls will start to go up and you will start to appreciate the view of a magnificent building worthy to carry the name of Sir Colville N. Young, our longest serving Governor-General and Patron of Scouts in Belize.

August is our concrete block campaign month so we are asking for the donation of $5.00 per block. You can donate from one block to any number you can afford. We need 5,000 blocks so come on board and help us with the construction of this building, the future home of Scouts in Belize.

You will be recognized if you donate towards this building.  A wall plaque listing all the donors no matter how much you donate, your name will be placed on that plaque that will be displayed in the Sir Colville N. Young building.

You can call us at 610-5320 and we will gladly pick up your donation.
