11th Mary Hill Scouts Awarded Small Grant for Camping Equipment

Camping outdoors is an adventure that Scout looks forward to, but having the essential tools and equipment is crucial for an unforgettable experience.

With this in mind, the Belize Scout Foundation has awarded a small grant to acquire camping equipment for the Mary Hill Scouts in Corozal.

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Hilberto B. Riverol, Executive Director of the Scout Foundation, met with several Scouts and leaders from the group to present a grant of $500.00. This funding will help cover the costs of necessary camping equipment, ensuring the Scouts have a positive camping experience.

In presenting the funds, Riverol said that the Foundation is pleased to support the group’s camping program once again. In response, Group Scout Leader Ovid Rancharan thanked the Foundation and assured them that the funds would be utilized for their intended purpose, significantly benefiting the group in the upcoming year.
