Yesterday our Venture Scouts attended the Community Climate Expo organized by APAMO Belize. Held at the Macal Park in San Ignacio Town our Ventures were able to learn about the efforts which NGO’s & other agencies have been doing to combat the lingering effects of climate change. Attending this expo put our Ventures one step closer to completing a requirement of their Venture Award. We’d like to encourage members of the community to continue putting in their fair share to minimize the effects of climate change. As it starts with us to preserve our resources for future generations to come.
