Sir Colville conducts training for members of The Scout Association’s Steel Band

On July 6, 2024, Sir Colville provided steel pan training for The Scout Association members. His dedication to music is evident through various musical endeavors, including composing and arranging Belizean folk songs and internationally performed pieces such as “Romance for Violin and Piano” and “Misa Caribeña.” Sir Colville’s involvement with steel bands, including founding and conducting the University of Belize Steel Band, has left a lasting impact on the music scene. Additionally, his compositions and arrangements, such as “Christmas in Belize” and “My Homeland by the Sea,” showcase his passion for music. According to Sir Colville, teaching The Scout Association’s steel band members was an exceptionally rewarding experience, and he commended their impressive skills.
