Troop 27 Santa Elena Jaguar Scouts in action “Skills for Life”
On Saturday November 12th our Scouts got to complete the second set of requirements for their first aid badge. We can now confidently say they’ve been equipped with the resources needed as they await their practical assessments for their badge. Our Scouts learned how to deal with outdoor emergencies which we are prone to while on an expedition: snake bites, bug bites, broken limb, heat stroke, hypothermia etc… Our Jaguars also learned how to safely & swiftly move an injured person(s) using a body stretcher. The Scouts are one step closer to attaining their badge. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the Cayo Emergency Services, to Mr Rob & Ms Samira we are truly appreciative of the help you’ve given us since the start. Our Scouts eagerly await their practical assessments now.
we have a full Scout medic team coming soon
