Luigi and Elena Heredia recognized as Sir Colville N. Young Fellows

At a brief but historic and memorable ceremony, Luigi and Elena Heredia were recognized as Sir Colville N. Young Fellows.

The ceremony occurred at the former Governor-General’s home in Ladyville where Sir Colville personally recognized the Heredia’s for their invaluable and wholehearted financial support towards creating a better world.

The Sir Colville N. Young Fellow program has three levels of participation and Fellows are presented with a personalized certificate, and lapel pin in either bronze, silver, or gold to Individuals who contribute $1,000.00, $2,000.00, or $3,000.00 to the Belize Scout Foundation. Donors may make a gift in their own name or in honor of someone else. This contribution is in addition to and does not replace, a donor’s annual gift to the Belize Scout Foundation campaign or other campaigns organized by the Foundation.

In accepting the recognition, the Heredia’s said they were happy to support the Foundation in its work and pledged to continue their support to enable the Foundation to achieve its goals.

Present for the occasion along with Sir Colville was the Chairman of the Foundation, Dr. Rene R. Villanueva, and Executive Director, Hilberto B. Riverol.

The Sir Colville N. Young Fellow program was launched on February 8, 2020, and currently has 15 Fellows at various levels. The official presentation of Fellows and Awards will be scheduled later this year during a formal dinner reception and on a date to be set by the Foundation. The Scout Foundation took the opportunity of a short visit by the Heredia’s to Belize to recognize their Fellowship contribution. Luigi and Elena reside in ARUBA.
