On September 15, 2021 was landscaping for the Sir Colville Memorial completed
The landscaping of the Sir Colville N. Young Memorial was completed on September 15, 2021. The work was contracted to Martha Cruz who will also provide maintenance for the plants on a monthly basis.
The Scout Foundation went a step further and made provision to have some plants at the front of the Sir Colville N. Young Building to enhance the entrance of the grounds, the foundation has also committed to being responsible for the maintenance of these plants.
At the completion of the landscaping project, Chairman, Dr. Rene Villanueva along with Executive Director, Hilberto B. Riverol and Rene Villanueva Jr. visited the site where they met Ms. Cruz who explained why she selected the specific plants for the project. Both representatives from the Foundation were pleased with the landscaping work on the memorial and thanked Ms. Cruz for her work.
