Meeting of BSF Executive Directors
On Wednesday October 7, 2020 a meeting of the Executive Directors of the Belize Scout Foundation (BSF) was held at Bird’s Isle.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the way forward in gifting the building over to The Scout Association once completed with adequate safeguards in place for securing and protecting the assets in perpetuity.
A meeting with the full Board of Directors of the Foundation will follow shortly for the detailed presentation of the recommendations, followed by a joint meeting of the Foundation and Executive Committee of The Scout Association of Belize at which time the detailed presentation of recommendations will be presented for consideration.
Following the meeting, a visit to the construction site was made and as can be seen in the photographs, much advancement has been made.
Plans are to have the building completed by the end of January 2021 provided that there are no major keep backs.
