Meritorious Service Awardees

The Government of Belize annually seeks out individuals who have provided outstanding and meritorious service to the country and people of Belize and offer recognition under the National Awards System.
On Thursday, September 22, 2019, such persons were honored – 3 with the order of Distinction, the three highest national awards after the National Hero and order of Belize; and the others with meritorious awards.
The Belize Scout Foundation congratulates all the awardees and particularly Brent Hamilton – a Scout and Leader for many years with the 4th Belize Wesley Scout Group and Dawn Flowers – a Scout Leader for many years with the 18th Belize Burrell Boom Scout Group.
